Are you an electrician in Leicestershire or Rutland?

Fancy extending your network of business contacts?

The Leicestershire and Rutland Business Club (LRBC) could be just the thing for you.

Why are we advertising for a Leicestershire and Rutland electrician?

We are advertising for an electrician because our current members’ clients often ask for a referral to someone in your trade. LRBC doesn’t have an electrician as a member at the moment and we’d like to connect with someone we can share those leads with.

What do I get out of it?

Your profession is well served by an array of different trade organisations like NICEIC, ECA, ELESCA and NAPIT and a choice of trade journals. They seem to cover all your national training, regulations, qualifications and live industry issues.

But what about the local business viewpoint?

At LRBC you meet other businesses from the area, including other trades, and get a chance to discuss the local picture.

The main aim of any business networking is to pass work and grow businesses – LRBC is no different and we have a great track record for lead generation.

Why Leicester and Rutland Business Club?

What you get:

  • Referrals from other members
  • Structured meetings with an informal, friendly atmosphere
  • Opportunity to promote your business
  • Your own section on the LRBC website
  • Shared knowledge from a range of different professionals
  • Place to discuss your client issues

What you don’t get:

  • Mandatory referral targets or fines
  • Any up-front charge
  • Competition for business with other Leicestershire and Rutland electricians within the club
  • Uncomfortable, standing around ‘networking’ situation

As you can see, the LRCB avoids the pitfalls of other ‘networking’ events. There is no pressure from the demands of delivering a set number of leads within a set time. This style of business club is great for some people, but it’s not the only way and it’s not for our members.

The club’s meetings do follow a format, which avoids the awkwardness that often goes with the ‘turn up and mingle’ style of business meeting. They can feel quite ‘hit and miss’ in terms of making actual connections. At LRBC, you get to know about everyone else’s business and promote your own.

Where do I sign up?

You can find out a bit more on our website and ask any questions on 01664 454066 or info@leicsrutbc.co.uk.

You can come along as a visitor, no strings attached, and see if it’s right for you. Our meetings are on alternate Tuesdays, 7.30 – 8.30am, in the Pera Business Park. It’s a great venue that’s easy to reach from Leicestershire and Rutland – and there’s free parking. Yes, it’s early, but you get breakfast as part of the deal.

Come for the free cobs…stay for the business connections!

We look forward to meeting you.
